I was on the south side of Gladstone on Thursday morning. I walked out between the beach and the new fishing pier. i was out about 100 yds in 20-25 fow. i had one light bit and that was it for jigging. I caught a northern that was just legal that i returned to the water to grow. That was on a tip up with a 4 inch shiner rigged on a little crawler harness with a yellow blade which you can see in the picture. It might not be a trophy, but its a fish!
