Well unfortunately I had to fish by myself today my buddy Jim left this morning. I moved a shack yesterday to a new location and thought that I would prefish it before our customers get here for the weekend and it paid off. I didn't start until noon and ended up with a 20" walleye and a 20" northern out of the same tip-up hole using 4 to 5" suckers. Then about 4 PM the Marcum went crazy for the rest of the evening and I ended up catching this 28" 8.5lbder I missed this fish 7 times before I finally hooked up. I was jigging with a Buckshot Rattle Spoon in the red glow color tipped with a whole 2" shiner. I was fishing in 40 fow. Hopefully the action keeps up for the customers this weekend. I had 15" of ice.
