Well, finally made it out to do some serious ice fishing. Went out to do some walleye fishing and found some sort of pattern over the last 2 days.
Fished mainly on the edge of a sand bar from 6 to 12fow. Our best depths being 7 to 11fow fishing about 3' under the ice. All fish came on medium shiners.
With the new moon phase fishing can really be tough, we did notice that we did get hits each night at moon set. It is always important to pay attention to the moon phases when chasing walleyes.
The ice conditions seem to be really good over the entire lake. we had anywhere from 16" to 20" where we were fishing.
Call 715-304-9089 to book an ice fishing trips, still have a lot of openings available.
Good Luck and Be Safe!!
