I did not have much time Monday morning, but went out simply picking a spot where there were no other shanties within a few hundred yards, heading north from Kipling but still south of Yellow Gate. Stopped at Bay View and talked to Chris. Bought some perch minnows and 3" minnows. In 2 hours I caught 10 nice perch. I also saw two pike and a big walleye on camera. I had to leave at 11 a.m., just when I had a dozen or more nice perch on the screen!
