safe passage through hunters point?

Hey guys i have a cabin down on stonington and i get on the lake just north of squaw point through a friends yard. We usually fish the bank in front of there there but i'll be up thursday for 10 days and i was wondering if the ice is safe to leave from there and head north by quad or snowmobile to fish any of the 3 reefs or the center reef. Just wondering if anyone knows if its safe right now to run down the bay if i wanted to try some new fishing grounds. Thanks!

after reading all the other posts...i doubt anyone will tell you its safe right now...but theres cold weather on the way. you should be good to go by the time you get up here
