We bailed on the walleye for awhile with many of the captains working hard to put fish on the ice and only coming up with a few and a crack that is making fishing a dicy.... We are on some good perch fishing with whitefish to boot! The fish are nice size, we did good over the weekend and when the fish weren't biting, they were still on the camera, just off the bite as the current changed! Lots of current changes with the weather we had.... Take a look at the jumbos we caught on Friday and Saturday...

The truth is we didn't get our limit but had plenty of action. On Firday we iced around 45 perch, we kept 25 very nice perch, a few bigger whitefish, and a couple of smelt... The bite was better earlier in the week during the middle of the high pressure..but got a little touchy with the weather coming and the current switching back and forth...
