Haven't been up for a month - way too long. December was very good for walleyes. Has it slowed? I've never tried for pout on purpose. I'd like to do so. Any tips out there for pout in walker bay this weekend? Thanks, P

Fishing has been on the slow side as of late. You can catch eel pout while targeting walleyes. We caught a few last week, they fight like hell, they are all tail. We caught them from 18 to 40 feet. Jigging spoons and minnow heads. Be aggressive with your jigging.

We tried a few humps on Walker bay last weekend. But not much luck. Just a 17" and a couple of small "cigars" and sundown. Any other reports out there?
