Since we have had great feedback on my 9 ft. Musky Armor rods, we decided to start working on a "Pounder" rod for bigger baits. I just recieved word that I will have the first prototype rods in my possession before the season starts in March and I am definately excited about this new rod.
I have and have had clients use my 9 footer to throw pounders, but I don't suggest it...as it puts a lot of stress on the rod. Since there seems to be a high demand for extra heavy rods for large rubber baits and other heavy lures we thought we would venture into this as well. The rods will be based on the 9 footer we have now, trying to keep the weight down and still be strong and easy to use. I am definately very excited about this...now I just hope my shoulders will forgive me 10 years down the road!! LOL
