The word on the street is that the Seneca Reservation has decided to change their walleye rules. The change will be an increase to 18-inch fish and a limit of 3 per day, if my source is correct. Also, the Seneca Nation is going to build a walleye hatchery to increase stockings and hopefully increase tourism to the area.

That be nice, hope it's true.
The walleye size limit could be bumped up in my eyes.

I like the rule a lot. Most of the fish we have caught this year through the ice have been over 18 anyhow. Well on the Res. that is. Do you think PA will fallow the leader here? I hope so!!!!

If your going to keep a fish for the pan might as well be worth getting the knife out for. 18" or even 20" would be a nice size limit.

I have heard nothing that would lead me to think PA will follow suit, at least for inland waters but that is just an educated guess without much education.

Looks like a 4 fish limit at 15 inches will be the initial change for walleye regs on Seneca Waters. The hatchery is suppose to be built in the near future with more changes to the walleye creel limits to follow.

I would also like to see a change from 15 to 18" with maybe a 4 fish limit here in Pa. Sounds like a great idea they have being all green and helping to preserve the future of fishing for this delicious fish.
