I have been spending a lot of time on some of the area lakes that are off the beaten path. We have been taking the chain saw along with the ice auger.
The fishing has been slowing down in the last week. The ice is getting thicker, I am about 4 to 5 inches form getting out the auger extenion.
We are going down to the Aulneau Peninsula next week to portage some of the inland lakes. I will keep you posted.
