February 21st - Winter general membership meeting. Elks club in Escanaba. Cocktails from 5PM to 6PM. Fish fry starts at 6PM, (fish fry is free for all paid members.) A club meeting and election of board members to follow. Door prizes and 50/50 raffle will follow the election.
March 13th - 4th annual BDNGLSF Fund Raising Banquet. Last years attendees will have first shot at purchasing tickets. Leftover tickets will be available after February 20th. Tickets are $60 per person, $40 for children under 12. Tickets include a door gift, buffet dinner, one chance for the door raffle, and your annual membership in the Bays de Noc Great Lakes Sport Fishing club. April 24th - The 2nd annual outdoor equipment flea market.
May 2nd - Spring general membership meeting. Great Lakes Rod and Gun Club, starting at 2 PM. Meeting with door prizes and 50/50 raffle to follow.
May 8th - Spring perch derby out of Gladstone harbor. Tournament director Chris Wahl (906) 786-1488.
June 12th - Angler/Young Angler fishing tournament. A new tournament for our area. Limited to 50 teams, each consisting of one adult angler, and two youths age 17 or younger. First prize for the winning young angler is a boat/motor/trailer. Launch site will be the North Shore Launch site on the Escanaba River. June 13th - Early Bird walleye tournament. Launch site and weigh-in will be the North Shore boat launch. Tournament director Niel Armatti.
June 26th - 1st annual Big Bay de Noc Bass Tournament. Launch site and weigh-in will be the Nahma public access. Tom Polkey is tournament director (906) 474-6351
July 10th and 11th - Annual salmon derby out of Fairport. Tom Polkey is tournament director (906) 474-6351
July 31st - Annual Kids Derby in Escanaba harbor. Dan Kotowski will be tournament director.
August 15th - BDNGLSF/Wal-mart Bays Classic walleye tournament and Gladstone Kids Derby. Launch site will be the North Shore boat launch, with weigh-in at the Gladstone harbor. Tournament director will be Larry Johnson.
August 22nd - BDNGLSF volunteer day at the DNR pocket Park at the U. P. State Fair grounds.
September 19th - Last Chance Walleye Tournament. Launch site and weigh-in will be at the North Shore boat launch. Tournament director Kelly King.
September 25th - National Hunting and Fishing Day at the Great Lakes Rod and Gun club. The BDNGLSF will be running the trout pond again this year.

We have a busy schedule again this year! we cannot do all the things we do without a dedicated group of selfless volunteers. Our volunteers are working people, professionals, young, old, men and women. The only thing we all have in common is that we care about our community and we want our children and grandchildren to be able to take part in and to enjoy fishing like we do. Come join us!
If you are interested in joining the Bays de Noc Great Lakes Sport Fishing club, print off and fill out the form below. Membership dues are $20, $10 for seniors over 50, and free for kids 16 or younger. Make checks out to "BDNGLSF, Inc." and mail to the PO box on the form.
