The Boundary Waters Musky Club will be holding its 1st Annual Musky Fishing Expo this Saturday Feb. 20th at the America's Best Inn in Iron Mountain, MI. The Expo will include a fishing tackle swap meet starting at 11:00am and lasting until 3:00pm Various manufacturers products will be available from the likes of Ducktail Lures, Hawgteaser Lures, G.Loomis Bucktail rods, Lamiglas Musky Rods, U.P. Musky Products, Enticer Tackle, Traxstech Fishing Systems, High Seas Fishing line, Badwater Baits, DannyBoy's Guide Service, & MuskyCrazy Guide Service. Bring any new or used fishing equipment that you want to sell or trade. Donnie's Reel Repair will be on hand to answer questions. Along with the swap meet there will be various raffles held throughout the day.

Guest speakers will start at 11:00am with a speaker on the Invasive Species Issue that is plaguing our area waters. Starting at noon WI Fish Biologist Mr. Mike Donofrio will put on a presentation of managing muskies in the Brule River Flowage, he will also hold a question and answer period until 1:30 p.m.
Starting at 1:30pm and lasting til 2:30p.m., licensed Wisconsin Fishing Guides Danny Lazzeroni of Dannyboy's Guide Service and Dave Wineburner of MuskyCrazy Guide Service will present "Basic Musky Fishing", a tips and tactics seminar for beginning musky fisherman.

Also on display throughout the day will be Larry Lorenz's 55" Trophy replica produced by Lax Taxidermy. Larry caught the monster 50 lb Class Musky while fishing one of the Boundary Waters Club outings on the Bay of Green Bay. Along with Larry's replica, several other Club members' replicas will be on display.

Boundary Waters Musky Club will hold their Annual Meeting and Banquet following the Expo starting at 3:00pm. Club members are encouraged to attend as the Club Outing agenda for next year will be discussed along with election of Club officers and presentation of the yearly Club awards. A small dinner will be provided after the meeting. Bring your own refreshments.
