Ice conditions

I am heading up tommorrow morning with 9 guys in three trucks. I was wondering how good the ice is. I will be driving out from the yellow gate at kipling. I have read in weeks past about the crack by shore. is it passable in full size trucks? Thanks in advance.

Veer to the left, you'll see tracks in the snow, been driving off the gate with no problems for awhile.
