Made it out twice since my last report. Fishing remains consistent to say the least. Still am not getting big numbers like I have in past years, this time of the season. That goes to show the numbers are down and everyone that can be release should be released!!
Mainly fishing sand humps adjacent to deep water, fishing anywhere from 7' to 13 fow. Fishing above weed with small shiners. Noticing a early bite right now anywhere from 1 hour to 45 minutes before dark I am usually picking up 1 walleye. I notice this pattern occuring a lot during the full moon periods.
Also have been picking up some really nice females that are staging and putting on the feed bag for the spawn. All females caught have been released!!
Good Luck!!
