Arctic Lake Trout with Ron Bauer
Ron Bauer was born in Western Pennsylvania and has enjoyed fishing all his life. Moving to Bethlehem, PA, in 1984, he was introduced to the American Shad. Convinced that there must be a better way to fish for Shad, Ron experimented with down riggers and flutter spoons. The system was so successful that Ron's techniques were published in several newspapers and the Pennsylvania Angler in the early 90's. Because of the cold water, the Lake Trout are fished using many of the methods we use for bass in the states. Ron's presentation will introduce the beauty of this remote region and cover the variety of techniques used for large lake trout and grayling fishing in cold shallow waters. The Arctic Circle is truly a treasure and Ron's presentation will show that.
