Perch Report

I fished Indian Lake today and ended up with 24 nice perch. Also cought a lot of little ones that were thrown back. I did catch a 12" walleye and a 17" pike. My son fished there yesterday ending up with 30 really nice perch, some even in the 12" range. Maybe to perch fishing is starting to pick up. I heard Kates Bay is doing pretty good also.

Hey, TomJohn ...do you fish the Big Spring Bay or out in the lake? We noticed the fish we caught had few wigglers this year. Unlike last winter when they were loaded with em!!!

I fished out off the Big Spring launch but out from the bay and over to the left. What is called the duck blind area.

Thanks for the feedback TomJohn. Fished Indian Lake today....but not in the bay..... out in the middle mud flat in about 10 ft. Thought we had a good spot but only caught 3 perch in 4 hrs of fishing. Actually kinda the trend this winter. Going to try a different area tomorrow......Maybe!
