What are your favorite water conditions? Have any of you guys ever noticed a correlation between water rise/fall and the fish getting active?? Have you ever noticed anything that shut them right down?? Obviously cold muddy conditions are the toughest to face, but have you guys ever found anything that seemed to trigger the fish?? Just trying to get some more information flying around, and more fish talk than tackle.

I like the river water with about 2 to 3 feet visibility and either stable or rising. It seems to be a tough bite when the water is falling for all species for me atleast.

I really do not like to fish what i call a "mud slide" Thats when it looks like chocolate milk and about 10 feet above flood stage. Haha
I prefer a tint of somekind, could be green or tea, something that will make the water not gin. Visibility at most 5 feet and slight rise or stable.
