If you had to choose 1 casting bait and 1 trolling bait for Spring muskies, what would they be?

My first choice for casting early season would have to be a gold blue fox vibrax #5 with a hand tied gold flashabou tail a close second would be a Tuff shad glide bait . My first choice trolling bait for early season would be a muskellunch in a gold/orange pattern but since I can troll two baits at a time the other rod would have a 5 inch Tuff shad on it . With all that being said I normally end up throwing whatever I bought during the winter on the first trip out !

Casting would be a 6" grandma probably natural color...Haven't been trolling long enough to give a great answer on a trolling bait but i would probably go with a 5.5in Firetiger Wiley Jtd.

without a doubt an an 8" jake in orange tiger for trolling, Since I do not cast much, But if I had to, a Rapala super shad rap in either black/ silver or gold/silver. That is at lake arthur. troll them both, might even get a nice Pike, or 28" walleye.

I would cast a Perch Hellhound. For trolling I would use a Black Headshaker.

If I am only taking 1 casting bait with me for Spring river fishing, it will be a Shallow Mag Dawg (or the like).
