I did not want to chance the last ice (wife said NO) so I got the boat on the Esc river Friday night and Sat. night. Never caught anything but enjoyed the fishing with my son Nick on Fri. and time with Tim on Sat. night. Totals for the year were
32 Trips on the ice
209 Walleyes in the shack
63 being keepers
I have not fished to many years but I think it was a good year. Caught most of my fish on #7 Fire tiger jigging Rap with no bait. No real big ones my son got 4 over 23 the biggest was 26.
Thanks for all the post through the season as I enjoyed the comments most the time.
Boat is ready and we will try that when the season opens today (opps I forgot that I am not a tribal fisherman) :-) :-)
