Hopefully I will start making these posts more regular as the season progresses. I (Mike) own a bowling center. We have had a very busy winter, now starting to wind down. The best way to get up to date info is to give Garry a call at 1-800-435-5591. Conditions are going to change by the day depending on ice out, dirty water and weather.
Fishing has been fair to good. The only ramp open now is the fast water at Big Bend. We expect the river to open up any day around Chamberlain. It has taken longer to open up than any time I can remember. The water is high, but not like in 1997 yet. They have been catching walleyes from Big Bend Dam to South of Crow Creek. Jig and a minnow has been best. 18-30 feet of water.
