Walleye fishing Sturgeon Bay

With the canal and upper bay clear of ice we've been hitting the walleye in the evening... I posted a few photos of Capt Merrick with some BIG walleye from the weekend... Warm weather this weekend should help to get the fish even more active, but we need some rain too..

We are usually not fishing open water throughout the entire Door County Penninsula an April 1st!!! Ice out is usually around April 15th give or take a couple of days... So this trips have been bonus opportunites, howver take a look at the incredible fish our team caught this weekend!!

I expect fishing to only get better over the next few weeks... Our boats will be the first in the water in Sturgeon Bay with our new boat scheduled to be in the water this Tuesday! See you on the water soon..
