Water temps ranging from 49 to 55 and with the warm weather today, tomorrow and Sunday they should rise a few degrees more. Glad to see the wind today even thought I hate fishing in the wind on spring days...good to get the water mixed up and get some of that warmer surface temps mixed in. Water temps are always up and down in the spring so they can and will rise and fall in a hurry...no true "heat" has set up in the water yet so a few cooler night if and when they come will bring them right back down just as fast as they warmed up.
Water is still a little murky, but has cleared up alot recently. Still the same old same old...throw a bait in directly in front of a stupid fish to get the most action...so bait wise isn't that important...gliders, dawgs, spinnerbaits, smaller bucktails, topwater, twitch and crank baits, etc....
So with 75 and 80 degree weather in March...what's gonna happen mid April....3 days of snow???? LOL
Good luck out there!
