The one and only annual CCMI Fundraiser and Seminar is just 11 days away! Well known muskie guide and tournament angler Gregg Thomas is the featured speaker. Doors open at 5:30pm for an early bird raffle at 6:30p. Food and drinks available. Gregg speaks at 7pm.

The 26th Annual event will be held at a new location this year........DoubleDays Bar/Restaurant just a mile and a half east of the Cottage Grove city limits. Easy to find, just take County Rd. BB (Cottage Grove Rd.) east of the city and turn LEFT at the Baxter Rd. street sign (well marked sign). For those of you oldtimers this is the old Neils Diamond Bar/Bowling alley. Go down Baxter Rd. about a half mile and Doubledays is on the right side of the road. (the back of your ticket has an accurate map)

You dont have to be a CCMI member to attend. If you are a CCMI member two tickets have already been sent to you. Thanks for sending in your ticket $. If you cannot attend please give your tickets to family or friends who would like to go. The ticket stub is a door prize entry as well. Ten dollars will get you in the door if you need a ticket.

As in the past we will have Two super raffles for Stocking Leech Lake strain muskies, 3 regular raffles, many Pot Hole raffles and door prizes!

Help us stock some more muskies!

There is plenty of parking in the south end paved parking lot of DoubleDays and the gravel lot North of Doubledays. Overflow parking is available in the open field Northeast of Doubledays next to the softball diamonds. As Gerard mentioned No Parking on Baxter Rd. is allowed.

We had a good turnout for the 26th Annual Seminar/Fundraiser last night. Thanks to all of you who showed up and purchased raffle tickets to help fund our stocking of Leech Lake Strain muskies in Lake Monona this fall. We will be able to stock several hundred fingerlings and PIT tag them all.

We would also like to thank all of our sponsors who donated lures, equipment, merchandise, guided trips, etc. to the cause. Over 25 anglers, many of them CCMI members also donated homemade lures as prizes in the Leech Lake Strain stocking raffle.

Gregg Thomas did a great job as seminar speaker and we learned a few tricks for the upcoming muskie season.

Many comments that DoubleDays in Cottage Grove is a great facility for this event, food was excellent also!

Thanks again,

Steve R
