Surface water temp on Catfish lake Sunday at 6 pm was 48 degrees... Catching a few perch off the pier and saw 25 walleys none over 14 inches douiing the spawning ritual along my shoreline at 10 pm last night...... We have a slow growth genectic situation on the Chain so walleye do not grow very fast over 14 inches if at all ........Weed walleyes will be in effect come May 1st if the warm weather keeps up... Have fun fishing
