The Brown Trout action is alittle slow but the Walleye action is great. All day or night. The season for Bass ot open and Walleye limits to go from one per day to five is just around the corner.
We were out yesterday and caught and released over 25 walleyes in a few hours and that doesn't count the ones that pulled a Houdini.
We were using a combo of sticks and crawler harnesses. The Walleyes were wacking the harnesses but not getting hooked up good but the sticks were working real good.
Fishing the shorelines with Smithwicks Black and Silver or Gold or Firetre has been working with a few whoppers at night.
