We have been getting reports of some good numbers of Walleye on the shallow wind blown shorelines. It's tough fishing with the high winds but the guys that are fighting the wind are catching the fish. The bait of choice for Walleye seems to be Large Fatheads. We had reports of Crappie and Bluegill in the shallow wood and weeds and the Pike action has been good around any green weeds that you can find. The smallmouth action has been hot also, they are being found tight to cover. I have been working in the store so I havent made it out yet but I should be hitting the water later today.
