Monday greeted my client and I to yet another windy day, just no let up there. We spent the majority of the morning drifting and vertical jigging with the aid of a drift sock. Using 1/4 ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with large fatheads, we managed only 2 keeper eyes along with 1 pike and 1 smallie. It's not that we didn't have good action, we had our chances with several hit and misses along with a few that were on but got off. All of the action came over submerged stump fields in 7 to 12 feet of water.
