I understand that there might be a tourney coming up, would that be happening the weekend of 5/15? Also, are there any boat rentals on the lake?
Thanks much!
Marek

Yes, the Petenwell Musky Challenge is this weekend. Fishing Saturday and Sunday.
Far as boat rentals, I'm not sure. I do know the Lure rents pontoons. Romano's or 3 Uggs Bait & Tackle may rent pontoons too.

Todd,
We're coming up for some walleye fishing this weekend, and don't want to get in the way of the tournament. Our house is by Petenwell Park, and usually base out of there for the weekend. Will it be ok to launch and fish in that area, or should we plan to head over to Castle Rock for the weekend. Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We'll be there Fri and Sat.
Thanks,
Jeff

Sorry, I am referring to the Adams County Park.
Thanks

Jeff all contestants will have to launch from one of four landings, Devils Elbow & Chester Creek on the eastside. City & Plank Hill landings on the westside. If it's like past years most of the contestants will be in the northern section of the flowage. Hide-A-Way and Lure could see some fisherman too. There could be some who may head south.
I'd say your safe to fish your areas.
