Monday greeted my two clients and I to once again clear bright sky's, but this time we had a slight breeze along with some walleye action. Working deep wood in 13 to 18 feet along side the river channels produced 5 eyes, all on Reeves weedless jigs tipped with fatheads. We then moved on and tried a couple of cribs and found only 1 jumbo perch. We then moved on and tried shallow stump filled humps and old weedy shorelines to no avail. We called it a day at 2 PM to get out of the sun.
Back out today, will keep you posted.
