Thursdays action really fell off as this hot weather continues to linger. My client and I spent the day working the depths with Reeves weedless jigs tipped with fatheads looking for a walleye larger that 12 inches. We managed to boat 6 eyes, but only 1 keeper, and they were all taken in 17 feet over submerged stumps. We tried other structures such as mud flats and a shallow stump filled bar and had smallie action there but that was it. We called it a day at 2 PM due to the heat.
