Shabbona Lake Musky Rescue June 2nd

Everyone, A musky rescue will be happening June 2 meeting at the Shabbona Grove Road Archery Hunting area at 5:30 pm. Anyone that can help is welcome. Bring a musky net, waders and large cooler if possible. Pass on the word.

For those who don`t know how to get there. Route 30 to Leland Road South to Shabbona Grove Road West about 2.5 miles to archery hunting area parking lot.

Fisheries Biologist Ken Clodfelder will be assisting us.

Doh! Thought I updated the post, here is what I got from Duane, I could not make it due to work commitments:

recieved this e-mail from Duane today:

Everyone I will be sending you three emails of photos of the muskies rescued from below Shabbona`s spillway this week.
There were 52 muskies ranging from 28"-47" in size the average fish was around 37"
We could have used about five more people helping but we got the job done.
