Today we headed to East of Niagara Reef about 1 mile and began trolling #40Jet divers off boards 55 feet back using stinger spoons. The hot color was chicken wing, sunburst, helmet and happy hooker. The best j-7 was firetiger these are jointed rapalas. The speed was critical today walleyes wanted it fast 2.3 to 2.7 mph. We ended up with 42 walleyes and also threw back 20 14 inchers and several 8 inchers. White bass are also running on the reefs my friends caught white bass on Crib reef and also toosaint reef using white curly tails with 1/16 oz pink jig head casting them on top of the rock piles and slowly retrieving.
