The walleye action on both Monday and Tuesday was very good to say the least. Both days, my clients and I found good numbers of nice size eyes in 3 to 6 feet of water over coontail and around stumps. Monday, my 2 clients and I boated 15 eyes along with 6 smallies and who know's how many small pike during our full day trip. Tuesday, my 2 clients and I once again boated 10eyes and several small pike all in the same areas during 4 hours of fishing and all on Reeves weedless jigs tipped with either a half crawler or fatheads. Big mayfly hatch is now taking place.
