Water temp on the ER Chain was running 69-70 as of yesterday, cooled down a bit with this passing front and a bit of rain. Slowed the muskies down a bit too. Yesterday I saw fish but all smaller size.
Bucktails and smaller crank baits have been my "go to" baits lately.
Fishing weeds in the 5-10 foot range.
I noticed a mayfly hatch the other evening also, boy, they were thick. That'll slow down any walleye bite going on.
Out again today, will report on any changes... good luck to everyone.
