After adding a second trolling battery and wiring it in series, 24v.I believe I need to replace the phase charger to a 2 bank 24/12 . Does any one have any recommendations and I not sure how many amps I need. I'm thinking 10 amp. Any suggestions ??

Pretty sure mine is a 10 amp.
I would have double checked last nite but it is back in the shop getting a fuel pump replaced. Hopefully, this will be the end of my boat troubles this Spring. A few embarrassing moments for me the past couple of months to say the least.

I decided to go with a Minn Kota 3 bank 15 amp, (5 amp to each battery) onboard AC charger. It will charge the 3 batteries in about 8 hrs. I figure the Merc doesn't get used long enough for a DC charger for 3 batteries. The Merc however will still charge the start battery when in use. Anyone ever use an onboard AC charger before? I was surprised at its weight.
