I took my 5yr. old Ella and the neighbors 10yr. old Jonathan up to Kipling for some walleye fishing on Sun. evening. Left around 7pm and had a bumpy ride over to days river can and drifted in a group of about 8 boats only marked a few fish so decided to move to the east bank and troll so we could run a few more lines. Ran crawlers on harnesses and had our first hit around 8pm a nice 19" eye that Jonathan landed. He was pretty excited too. Then it was Ella's turn around 8:15 she landed a 21" eye, her first walleye all by herself! I was so proud of her and she was all jacked up as well. I will never forget that night and I dont think those two will either. Hopefully Ella will be hooked now and want to come whenever I go.
