May 31 Week Summary

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our Big Fish Board tells most of the story! There was 68 names that made it to the Big Fish Board. Lots and lots of walleyes and smallmouth caught this week. This year the weather pattern is a few weeks ahead of schedule with warmer weather in April and May. It has gradually been cooling off the end of this week. The lake is at an average level.

The walleyes were still in the bays, and hanging out on the rocky points--Little Joes took the most. The bass were on the beds, and tubes seemed the way to go, although spinners and poppers took a few for us. I never met a friendlier bunch of guys, or better hosts. The entire staff was professional and courteous. Can't wait til my next trip!
