Water temps have been dropping as a result of cool nites and some much needed rainfall. Once in the mid to upper 70's area lakes are now at about 65 to 67 degrees. Fishing on the Chippewa Flowage has been streaky, lots of bites for an hour or two and then nothing for a while before they start again. Walleyes are bitting ok as are smallmouth bass and pike.
Musky's are showing up on nearly every spot on the lakes I've been fishing, getting them to strike a bait has been kind of tough though. Big Game Twitchbaits have worked the best in resent days. We've had action from bucktails too.
Good luck and good fishing
