Thursday greeted my client and I to much nicer conditions, clear sky's along with light and variable winds. Opting to try for our limits of panfish over walleye prooved to be a little tough. Vertical jigging several cribs with 1/16th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with a small piece of crawler, we did manage to boat many gills along with 1 decent perch. Although we caught many gills, the majority were on the small side and it took us 5 hours to put 20 nice keepers in the boat. Gills are still full of eggs and are in depths from 16 feet in heavy cover to 2 feet in the wood or coontail.
