Friday the weather seemed right so i went to a secret spot for some walleye fun. My wife and I, with another couple that are good friends of ours hit the water. We had three license's amoung the four of us, so we had to stop at 18 fish. The smallest was 22" and the biggest was 32".

Quick story on the biggest, it hit the bait furthest out on the board, it was 140' back 100' out. The rod bent in half line poped, by the time i grabbed the rod it took all the slack. It kept tuggin, i look down the counter was at 300'. I turn on the clicker, and it sounded like i was hard lining a marlin. It pulled line out 450 feet! I drug it in to 180 feet, it pulled me to 300' mean while we boated two other eyes in while i was going toe to toe. We pulled the lines, put boat in netural, 5 minutes later i had it to 90feet. The line was entering the water 20 feet behind the boat, she was going deep and staying there! Total time on the fight was 15 minutes, and we still did not know what it was. Well the net went great and she went in the box. Never had i had an eye put up a fight like this one.

Yes it was a wet ride home, if you can tell by my sweat shirt.
