Sorry for the delay in reports, but it's been very busy around here.

Walleye activity slowed a bit with the mayflies hatching, however, fish could still be caught with a little coaxing. Moving from spot to spot was the key.

Walleyes are still biting fine right now and setting up into their summer patterns. I am still getting fish on everything...minnows, leeches, and crawlers. Slipbobbers and small 1/16 Bait Rig's Weedmasters are the best.

Deep coontail, cribs, sandgrass, and sand humps are all holding fish. Just some spots are better than others on particular days. Pay attention to wind direction, and try to fish the wind blown areas. Early morning 6 to 9 am and last light have been best.

Muskies are heating up....I've finally got to fish these guys with some consistancy....knock on wood, I've had fish in the boat everyday...

Depending upon lake, muskies are suspending over open water and also using a variety of shallow structures. Shallow rock bars, cabbage, and wood.

We got a fish the other evening about 5 foot down over 50 feet of water...not uncommon this time of year. Weed fish are hitting Suicks, Burts, and 7" Shallow Raiders....actually bucktails are second best with the cooler water temps right now. Open water bite is best with Bulldawgs, Kickin' Minnows, and either 10" Jakes or 9" Grandmas..

Water temps range from 63 to 66 depending upon depth and size....look for this to move up towards the weekend. Lake levels are coming up a little (EXCEPT THE FLOWAGES)....our lake(big st) has risen about 6 inches over the last week with the much needed rain.

Good Luck!
