Fishing has been red hot since I have gotten to MN. Had my good friend and client Marc Reynolds had the hot hand again yesterday and popped another BIG fish with me. I lost a giant right at the boat, Marc lost another really nice fish as well....
Water temps are in the low 70's and the fish are active at different periods of the day, all depends on the daily weather. Have had great action early in the morning at 5:00 am, awesome activity at 2:00 in the afternoon and have had success at night as well. Wide range of baits are getting hit as well. Topwaters, bucktails and Medussa's are producing most fish in the boat. Just about ready to head out now due to hot weather and no wind...so I am hoping the night bite is on tonight.
