With the continueing storms, fronts, rain, and the dirty water from all the runoff, the fishing action really sucked on Thursday. My clients and I spent the entire day working all types of structures and depths, jigging, drifting, slipbobbers, you name it, and we really got our butts whipped. All we could muster up were 3 smallies, 5 or 6 small pike, 1 eye along with 3 perch and 1 decent gill. I forgot to mention all the young of the year perch out there being swallowed up by the eyes and smallies making it that much tougher to catch a days limit, but that happens every year, it's just a tough go until the forage dwindles down some.
