The Bay De Noc Great Lakes Sports Fishermen will be holding it's annual salmon derby on July 10th and 11th, out of Ranguette's Marina in Fairport. Cash prizes for the largest salmon and trout. Entry fee is $25 for BDNGLSF members, $30 for non-club members. 80% payback. Proceeds go to BDNGLSF to help fund fishing projects.
Lots of Door prizes! Door prize winners will be drawn and posted on the board. Check to see if you are a winner! Door prize donations are from - Bark River Knife and Tool, Bay View Bait and Tackle, Garden Sports, Gibby's Bar, Moonshine Lures, Nahma Inn, No-Nah-Ma Resort, Rapid River Knife Works, Sherry's Bar, and U.P. Prop Repair.
There will also be a free kids fishing derby on Saturday at 1:00PM
RULES
All anglers on each boat are required to be entered in the tournament and must be entered prior to fishing. Each contestant must have a valid all species fishing license.
Start time will be 4:00AM on Saturday, and will run until 1:00PM on Sunday. All contestants must be in line to weigh fish by 10:30PM on Saturday and 1:00PM on Sunday.
The judges decision is final in all matters. Cash prizes will be award on the basis of weight only. Ties will be settled by adding the two places together, and splitting the money.
Each contestant will be eligible for one prize only in each category.
Prizes will be awarded on Sunday, July 11th at approximately 1:30PM.
Fishing is limited to Michigan waters only.
