Homemade lure/bait scents

Does anyone know of any good homemade lure scents for rubber worms and such?

Codliver oil, salt, and garlic powder....

I had a bag of worms that came with anise scent in them. They worked great. Should be able to get a bottle of anise at the grocery store.

What im doing now is i have my worms sitting in a tupperware bowl with olive oil and a good bit of garlic salt. Im gonna let them sit over night and then bag them back up tomorrow after noon before goin out.

For what its worth ... when I was younger, my dad and gramps would use Preperation H on spoons and spinner blades. It has shark liver oil as an ingredient. Truly can't remember if it made a difference but worth a try. Prabably worth carring a tube in the tackle box anyway if you sit and fish all day! :D

I used olive oil and garlic salt. The next morning they were all dried out lol. So i poured out the oil and replaced it with water and they all got re hydrated.
