The water levels are returning to normal levels. The gill fishing is still going good on most area waters and they are still hanging shallow around weeds and wood. Pike action has still been good in the shallow weeds. Largemouth are hitting good and the frog bite is hot for them. Surface baits seem to be the ticket for Musky right now too but getting the hooks into them seems to be a challange.
For a mixed bag of fish try floating a leech under a bobber close to wood or weeds in 2 to 4 feet of water. Fishermen trying this have been catching panfish, walleye and bass. Just remember to have a good supply of hooks and bobbers with you because you have to be tight to cover and you will get hung up.
Good luck on the water
