Muggy and flat calm conditions slowed the fishing down yesterday for us. We did however catch the smallest fish of the year. Nick caught a stocking sized one of about 15 inches. We had two other fish follow. One was a very heavy low fifty inch fish. That one came in on a Stillwater but showed no interest of hitting. Cool to see though. I think that one will get a little more attention. That one was in a spot I rarely fish down south. Might have to use a little more gas in the next few weeks.
Water temps were around 72 to 75 degrees. Cool night last night so they should have dropped some.
Good luck.
