Wednesday greeted my clients and I with clear blue sky's and a stiff NW wind. Using Reeves weedless jigs tipped with half crawlers, we started by anchoring in 8 feet of water and working a 4 foot rocky shelf. Here, we found 3 nice eyes and lost another at the boat. Moving on, we worked a wind blown 4 foot weedy/stumpy shoreline and found 3 more nice eyes. We then moved and tried drifting with fixed bobbers with in-line spinners tipped with a 2 inch piece of crawler in 4 to 5 feet of water and here we finished up on our limits of eyes along with 2 jumbo perch and 1 keeper smallie.
