Friday greeted my clients and I with a good stiff west wind and cloudy sky's. Using Reeves weedless jigs tipped with a half crawler, we started out working some wind blown boulders and found 2 nice eyes and a throwback smallie. Our next stop was anchoring in 12 feet of water just off a 7 foot rocky ledge, here we boated another nice eye and a couple of little smallies. Our next move was to a small log jam and here we boated another nice eye. Our next and last move of our morning trip was to a wind blown weedy bay mixed with downed timber and here we caught another 4 eyes along with 4 jumbo perch.
Back out today for another half day trip, will keep you posted.
