Chippewa Flowage fishing is still going good with nice catches of walleyes, smallmouth bass, pike and panfish being the norm. Morning fishing has continued to be better than in the afternoon.
Largemouth and smallmouth bass are biting pretty good on Spooner area lakes, we've caught lots of 12 to 18 inchers in the past week. Walleyes around Spooner have been tough.
Muskys were a little on the difficult side this week too, a lot more followers than biters. Bucktails and topwaters have been the best baits recently.
Good luck and good fishing,
